  • Vehicle Stability Control is required in all cars starting September 2011
  • ESC, often referred to as anti skid goes by many names: GM StabiliTrac, Ford AdvanceTrac, Chrysler Electronic Stability Program, Subaru Vehicle Dynamics Control, Volvo Dynamic Stability Control, Honda Vehicle Stability Assist, and Toyota Vehicle Stability Control.
  • No matter what they call it, a stability control system uses an array of sensors to detect a loss of traction in the vehicle.
  • Combining the ABS, with lateral and longitudinal G Sensors, Steering Angles Sensors & Electronic Throttle Control, the goal is to keep the vehicle on its intended path.
  • This course will cover how VSC works, what goes wrong and how to fix them!

  • Power systems including vacuum and hydraulic power boosters
  • Learn how to stay out of trouble when servicing a vehicle with ABS
  • How to prevent comebacks with common complaints of brake pull, squeal or locking up
